Teshanna Williams
Born in Minnesota and raised in Chicago, Teshanna has been wielding her powers in the beauty industry long before she was a licensed cosmologist. Ever the entrepreneur, she started her first business by doing hair for her friends and family when she was in high school, right from her mother’s kitchen. She was influenced by her two aunts, who were licensed professionals. Teshanna loved how they were able to express their love and creativity by making women feel and look beautiful. She immediately knew that was her passion. Life initially took a different path for her career-wise, but Teshanna left her corporate job in 2015. She left the finance world to follow her passion as a beauty professional. Since she was very serious about her career in the beauty industry, Teshanna went back to school to obtain her cosmetology license in 2015 and never looked back. She is an award-winning makeup artist and hair stylist who has created stunning looks in numerous venues, including competitions, bridal expos, videos, and television.
These days, Teshanna focuses on natural looks, specializing in natural textured hair, hair extensions, color, bridal updos, and soft sultry makeup looks. Teshanna has received training from Mario Dedivanovic, New York Makeup Academy, Bronner Bros, Redken, and Mac Cosmetics to Sir John, Beyoncé’s makeup artist. Teshanna spent a lot of time in the beginning stages of her career assisting other stylists, where she learned more about being a freelance bridal artist. She also worked in an elite hair salon in the Chicagoland area, where she began her career and gained more knowledge about cutting, styling, and healthy hair practices. She worked for Mac Cosmetics in 2016, where she learned all the fun tips and tricks and gained many certifications.
She is passionate about her work and loves to create beautiful looks. Teshanna is professional, reliable, prompt, and accommodating. Her friendly, laid-back approach puts her clients at ease when sitting in her chair.
In addition to salon hair services, she offers makeup for weddings and special events. Teshanna also offers Makeup 101 classes for those who want to learn how to create their own stunning looks. She launched her Silk Press Aftercare professional quality spa treatment shampoo and conditioner line and TB luxury hair extension line.
She continues to hone her craft year after year. She is apart of an artist support group, where she continues to learn and give back to other artists. She is truly an experienced professional who can meet any hair and makeup need.
